Disclaimer: So I was being abducted by aliens one day when I thought, hey, I could make a T.V. show out of this. Then I called my old pal, Chris Carter, and I said lets talk- Just kidding (obviously. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence). Anyway, Chris Carter, 1013,Fox, David, Mitch, and Gillian own these characters and The X-Files. DON'T WORRY, THIS IS NOT A MULDER DEATH STORY. I have respect for all of the authors, but I really dislike stories where Mulder or Scully die. It's just so sad. This isn't too mushy, like some of my other stories, so do not be alarmed. Anyway... I love feedback and my e-mail address is lenni22@aol.com We Have Right Now Scully sighed as she once again hit the delete button on her computer. "Concentrate, Dana," she told herself. She was writing a field report, which would normally be a breeze. Today, however, she had other things on her mind. "I'm seeing him tonight," she hummed under her breath. 'Him' was Mulder, who everyone else thought was dead. They met rarely, since he was in hiding, and she missed him constantly. She also worried about him constantly. Questions like where did he sleep? plagued her mind. Scully couldn't ask, because that could jeopardize his life. Scully glanced at the clock. "Finally," she sighed. It was time to leave. She pressed the print button on her computer and neatly straightened the papers. "Sir?" Scully called , as she knocked on the door to Assistant Director Skinner's office. He was on the phone, but he waved her in. Skinner finished up the call. "Agent Scully. Thank you for the report. Listen, I was wondering how you're holding up since Agent Mulder's passing." She smiled sadly, but for a different reason then he suspected. "I'm getting by." Even Skinner, especially Skinner, didn't know that Mulder was still alive. "Good. Well, I guess I'll see you Monday." "Yes, sir," she said, and left the J. Edgar Hoover Building. The air was crisp and the sun was shining. There was a spring in Scully's step as she walked to her apartment. She put her briefcase down and got her disguise. The disguise consisted of a brown wig, colored contacts, a fake mole, and clip on earrings to make it look like her ears had been pierced several times. Scully put her disguise in a bag and then walked to a nearby restaurant to change into it. "You have to," Mulder had said. "I'm sure they're bugging your apartment, and they'll have a tail on you when they notice you putting on a disguise." Scully walked into the movie theater quickly, barely able to control her excitement. "Two adults for Stalker and one adult for Secret Kisses," she told the ticket agent, in a slightly accented voice. That got her a questioning look, but she didn't say anything. "Should I get him popcorn? I know he likes it," Scully thought to herself. Then she shook her head. Forget it. He could live without the popcorn. She just needed to see him. Scully walked into Stalker. Five minuted after it started, she left the theater and went into Secret Kisses, which had already started. There she found him, just where he said he would be, third row from the back, second seat. It was only a two-seater, but he liked to be precise. Scully could barely control her excitement as she walked down the aisle. "Is this seat taken?" she whispered, leaning down near him. He looked different, with sandy blond hair that was longer. She could easily recognize him, however, because she saw that face everywhere she went. "Katie!" Mulder murmured, using a nickname of her middle name as opposed to her real name. "Will," she whispered, using the same nickname system, as she leaned over and gave him a kiss. He returned it hungrily. "I've missed you." "Not as much as I've missed you," she said softly. "I imagine us together, like we were before-- before this. I need you with me, always." "We have right now," he replied, as she snuggled closer and he put his arm around her. "We have right now." ****************************************************************************** *************** But I just put money in the Magic Fingers! -- Scully, Bad Blood
